Private developer Nurton Developments has won outline consent to build circa 400 new homes in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire.
The new houses will sit alongside ancillary uses including a 65-bedroom care home, a medical centre and a small retail unit on a 50-acre site at Holywell Spring Farm. The consent includes a small amount of development land.
Nurton is now in talks with a number of house builders to bring the project forward.
