Nuveen has hired Gabi Stein from Tishman Speyer as managing director for its European business.
In this newly created role, Stein will focus on developing and enhancing client and consultant relationships across the real estate sector.
Stein will also be a senior real estate specialist in Nuveen’s international advisory services division.
She will report to Rune Sanbeck, Nuveen’s head of international advisory services for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and will be based in the firm’s London office.

Stein joins after 13 years at Tishman, where she was responsible for client relationships and capital raising activities across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, southern Europe and Israel.
Prior to joining Tishman, Stein was director of institutional business with Henderson Global Investors, and prior to that worked at Jones Lang Wootton (now Jones Lang LaSalle) and LaSalle Investment Management.
Sanbeck commented: “As we continue to build our pipeline of real estate strategies, suitable for European investors, Gabi’s deep client relationships and knowledge of the real estate industry will be an asset to Nuveen.”
