Oakland Care has bought a site in Ringmead, Bracknell, to build out and operate a new care home.
Oakland acquired the 1.57-acre site, which has planning consent for a 72-bedroom facility, from Perseus Land & Developments and Barwood Capital. It has a gross development value of £18m.
William Chambers, acquisitions director at Perseus, said: “Good sites sell well and we were very pleased to work closely with Oakland on an exclusive basis. The collaborative approach ensured we navigated the planning process efficiently with the end result being a home that is bespoke for Oakland’s operations.”
Richard Dooley, director of development at Oakland Care, said: “This home will become our 12th operational home within our growing portfolio of homes in the South East.”
