Obituary recalls architect Martin Richardson

An obituary on architect Martin Richardson, who died, aged 72, at the end of last year, is published in The Times.

He built huge developments of flats for the London County Council’s housing division in Rotherhithe, Woolwich and elsewhere, before moving to the Yorkshire Development Group in 1962.

He wrote a report on industrialised housing for Milton Keynes in 1970. He received an award from the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1988.
