Obituary: Simon Harding

Simon-HardingSimon Harding, chief operating officer at Lee Baron, the specialist property management and professional services company, died at the end of October following a long-term illness.

Harding joined Lee Baron in 2007 and was responsible for changing the business from a management company to a multi-disciplinary operation working in all sectors of the property industry.

A born entrepreneur, before joining Lee Baron Harding was chief executive of Gainsborough Serviced Offices, now part of Regus.

Harding was also chief executive of Circle Offices and brought with him a wealth of knowledge gained from his time at Gainsborough Serviced Offices. He was widely respected throughout the industry and will be sorely missed by his co-directors and the team at Longcroft House.

Carl Whayman, chief executive at Lee Baron, said: “Simon’s contribution to our business has been awesome in every way possible, he was an outstanding leader, well known for his generosity in the property world.”

A book of remembrance is open at Lee Baron for all who appreciated Harding’s warmth, good humour and professionalism.
