Cinema chain Odeon is looking for new West End offices ahead of a redevelopment of its Leicester Square, WC2, home.
Odeon has instructed Studley to find offices of up to 10,000 sq ft in locations near its flagship cinema, including Soho and Covent Garden.
The company has its similar-sized offices within the cinema building, however it now wants a separate base for its administrative work. It is believed to require the offices by early 2013.
The move comes in response to Radisson Edwardian’s purchase of the 0.47-acre Odeon site as a redevelopment opportunity earlier this year. The site has consent for a 215,000 sq ft mixed-use scheme.
