Central London office take-up reached 1.5m sq ft last month as supply continued to dry up.
Take-up in July was 1.5m sq ft, bringing the year-to-date total to 8m sq ft – a 17% rise on the same period last year.
DTZ said that of the lettings last month, seven were more than 50,000 sq ft. Two of these were for City offices, two for offices in Midtown, and three for space in Canary Wharf, E1 and Victoria.
Availability decreased to 11.3m sq ft, which was 21% lower than the same period last year and 31% below the 10-year average.
