Menswear retailer Officers Club opens its first out-of-town store today and plans to build a 50-strong retail park chain.
The shop – at Fort Kinnaird in Edinburgh – incorporates a new design, which managing director David Glazebrook believes will enable the retailer to target middle-market customers more effectively.
He said he hopes that approximately 30% of sales in the shop will come from customers poached from middle-market rivals.
