Old Oak appoints pair to board

Lendlease’s Victoria Quinlan and former Schroders head of property William Hill have been appointed to the board of Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation.

The mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has approved a recommendation by Liz Peace, chair of OPDC, to appoint Quinlan and Hill to the corporation, which oversees one of the UK’s largest regeneration projects.

The Old Oak and Park Royal scheme has the potential for 25,000 homes alongside millions of square feet of business space on its 1,600 acres, which spans three boroughs.

The OPDC board sets the strategic direction for the corporation. It approves the budget and business plan, and other major and strategic issues, such as the investment programmes and planning policy. It also appoints the members of the planning committee and any other committees that may be required.
