An old military airfield near the Scottish town of Stranraer has been earmarked as an emergency post-Brexit lorry park.
The park could be used if there are major delays at the ferry terminals linking Scotland to Northern Ireland.
Transport Scotland said it has an agreement in principle with the Earl of Stair to use the Castle Kennedy airfield for up to 240 HGVs.
