One2One has assigned the lease at its Dundee International Technology Park call centre to the Inland Revenue, in one of Scotland’s largest lettings this year.
The 61,740 sq ft (5,736 sq m) call centre was custom-built for One2One, with building work completed last year.
The mobile phone group had originally taken a 16-year lease but following a change in its UK property strategy decided to assign the lease for the site, which has capacity for a further 38,000 sq ft (3,530 sq m).
The current passing rent is £663,750, which equates to £10.75 per sq ft (£116 per sq m).
Graeme Davies, of sole letting agent Lambert Smith Hampton, said: “Office deals of this size are relatively uncommon in Dundee. We were surprised by the level of occupier interest in the building.”
