A decision by the Competition Appeal Tribunal means that OnTheMarket can continue its one-other-portal requirement.
OnTheMarket’s agreement for estate agents signing up to advertise on its site allows the agents to additionally advertise on either Rightmove or Zoopla, but not both.
Gascoigne Halman advertised on all three sites, arguing that the rule was anti-competitive. The tribunal ruled in favour of OnTheMarket, however.
