Wilson Bowden is in advanced negotiations with a series of high-profile leisure occupiers for its £50m Cornerhouse scheme in Nottingham.
Operators tipped to be interested in taking space at the scheme include TGI Friday’s, Wagamama, Nando’s, Jumping Jacks and a health and fitness operator. Luminar Leisure is also understood to be interested in opening its new concept ‘Liquid’ nightclub operation at the scheme.
The 23,225 sq m (250,000 sq ft) development is to be built on the former Nottingham Evening Post site on Foreman Street in the city centre.
Rents under negotiation range from £108 to £323 per sq m (£10 to £30 per sq ft) and the scheme is scheduled to open by the end of the year. Warner Village has already signed up for a 14-screen cinema at the Cornerhouse.
Fisher Hargreaves Proctor is advising the developer.
