Start-up Orbital Witness has raised £1.2m in its latest funding round, which was backed by funders including JLL Spark.
The LegalTech start-up, which profiles risk in property transactions, was backed by JLL Spark (advised by Concrete VC), LiFE Ventures and Seedcamp.
The round includes grant funding for research and product development through Innovate UK’s Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund, aimed at transforming legal services.
Orbital Witness ran its first pilot less than one year ago and is used by law firms including Mishcon de Reya, Clifford Chance, Reed Smith and Macfarlanes.
It has also recently launched its first product for in-house teams with Marks & Spencer.

“We are leveraging the expertise and reach of JLL to help the Orbital Witness team refine and scale its offering.”
