Orchard Street has appointed a new retail asset manager to bolster its retail team.
Paul Nicholson will oversee the commercial property investment manager’s £1.2bn retail portfolio.
Nicholson spent the previous nine months on secondment to British Land as leasing director from Savills, where he was associate director in its retail team.
He has spent a total of 11 years at Savills, having joined as a trainee chartered surveyor.
Orchard Street associate Fergus Egan said: “Paul joins with a wealth of relevant real estate experience and strong expertise in the UK retail market in particular, which will prove especially valuable in the current investment and leasing landscape as we implement creative strategies to continue to drive the value of our portfolio.”
In January, the company also announced Dana Eisner had been appointed as head of investor relations, a newly created role.
Eisner joined from AEW UK Investment Management, where for eight years as head of capital raising and client management she was responsible for the business’s investor and relations activities.
