Orega to launch 26,000 sq ft of flex space at Leeds’ Broad Gate

Flex workspace provider Orega has entered into a 10-year management agreement to create a new offer at the Broad Gate building in Leeds city centre.

The 26,000 sq ft refurbished flexible workspace will open this summer, providing around 400 workstations on the second floor of the building. Orega will also manage the amenity space on that floor.

Broad Gate is a landmark 300,000 sq ft mixed-use building owned by NW UK (Broad Gate) and managed by HKIP. It was built in 1932 and restored in 2009 to create modern offices. The building has the largest grade-A office floor plates in Leeds, alongside penthouse office suites and shops.

It is the second flexible workspace that Orega has launched in Leeds, following St Paul’s House at 23 Park Square. Orega now offers flex space from 27 locations across the UK.

Colliers and Knight Frank advised on the Broad Gate deal.

Roddy Morrison, director at Colliers, said it was “the first in a series of initiatives which will ensure Broad Gate is at the forefront for occupiers seeking grade-A space of all sizes in Leeds city centre”.
