Franco Gardella, the former Milan-based Morgan Stanley executive director, has moved over to Orion Capital Managers. OCM was formed in April by three ex-directors of LaSalle Investment Management. Gardella will head a newly-established Italian office.
Orion is also poaching Hans J Vrensen from LaSalle Investment Management, where he was a vice president based in Baltimore.
Vrensen will work from London and focus on indirect investment in real estate companies.
