The Spanish billionaire founder of fashion chain Zara, Amancio Ortega, is under offer to buy a St James’s office block, SW1, for more than £225m.
Ponte Gadea, Ortega’s real estate arm, has agreed a deal to buy Almack House from Grosvenor.
The offer comes less than a month after JLL was hired to handle the sale for the 97,500 sq ft block on King Street.
Almack House is home to a number of tenants including Warburg Pincus.
