Otium leisure fund buys first three assets

Fitness-gym-treadmill-generic-THUMB.jpegOtium Real Estate has completed the first three transactions for its Otium Leisure Ventures fund.

The fund manager has bought a Nuffield Health and Fitness centre in Cannock for £4m, Westgate Leisure Park in Wakefield for £12m and the Newport Leisure Park for £14m.

The fund successfully raised £200m in capital last December for the leisure fund through placements from a consortium of international institutional investors.

The fund invests in leisure parks, city centre leisure and single assets such as cinemas and health clubs.
