Celebrity chef Yotam Ottolenghi has agreed a deal for a new home in Spitalfields, E1.
The restaurateur has taken a 25-year lease for 3,746 sq ft, Grade II listed 9, 11 and 12 Artillery Passage and 50 Artillery Lane. He will pay £165,000 pa.
The ground floor of the three interlocking buildings will be used for a restaurant and delicatessen, and the upper floor will be used as a prep area and offices.
It will be the chef’s fifth restaurant in the capital after Belgravia, Islington, Notting Hill and Soho.
Strettons advised the private Indian landlord; Shackleton Property acted for Ottolenghi.
