MPs cried foul at The Development Board for Rural Wales’ bid to lure thousands of businessmen in England with half-price factories and low rents. The government-funded promotional agency sent 30,000 brochures to executives in English regions extolling the virtues of setting up in rural Wales. Conservative MPs asked Welsh Secretary William Hague to intervene to stop what they see as job poaching.
