Walker & Son has started work on over 23,225 sq m (250,000 sq ft) of speculative warehousing at two sites near Sutton in Ashfield, north Nottinghamshire.
Both sites are situated off the A38. At Sutton Parkway, four miles from Jctn 28 of the M1, a unit of 11,148 sq m (120,000sq ft) is nearing completion with a 3,716 sq m (40,000 sq ft) unit due for completion in the summer. Quoting rents are £32.29 per sq m (£3.00 per sq ft) and £34.98 per sq m (£3.25 per sq ft) respectively.
At Calladine Park, two miles from Jctn 28, Walker is scheduled to complete an 8,361 sq m (90,000 sq ft) high bay warehouse in the summer.
Also at Calladine, Commercial Development Projects has submitted a planning application for 6,038.5 sq m (65,000 sq ft) of speculative warehousing in three units. The scheme will be known as Caesar Park.
