Trafalgar New Homes has posted a pretax loss of £168,000 in the six months to 30 September, which the company said reflected an overhead charge.
Turnover for the period was £0.5m, reflecting the sale of the final unit at the company’s Oakhurst Park Gardens development in Kent and repayment of the loan associated with it.
Turnover for the same period in 2014 was £2.2m.
The AIM-quoted property developer is building schemes at Ticehurst, East Sussex and Borough Green, Kent, which are expected to contribute to turnover in the current financial year.
Chief executive Chris Johnson said: “The company feels it is now entering a growth phase, through land acquisition and development, while also considering possible corporate acquisitions.”
