Oxford Properties weighs takeover of M7

M7 Real Estate is in talks that could see the business taken over by Oxford Properties.

A spokesman for M7 said a deal would “facilitate the continued growth of the M7 Real Estate platform across Europe”.

They added: “We can confirm that we are in exclusive negotiations regarding the acquisition of M7 Real Estate by a global institutional commercial real estate investor and asset manager… As there are no guarantees that a transaction will occur, we cannot comment further at this stage.”

Set up in 2009 by chief executive and now executive chairman Richard Croft, M7 today has a portfolio of more than 800 properties across the UK and Europe valued at some €5.3bn (£4.8bn).
