Singaporean developer Oxley Holdings and Ballymore have submitted plans to build 764 flats at Deanston Wharf, E16.
The Glenn Howells-designed scheme consists of 590 flats for private sale and 174 affordable homes.
Building heights range from nine to 19 storeys.
The 5.3-acre site is part of an increasingly large swathe of development along the banks of the Thames to the south of Royal Victoria Dock.
