Oxygen Freejumping buys Air Space

Oxygen Freejumping, the UK’s largest trampoline park operator, has bought Air Space in a multi-million-pound cash deal.

It is the first acquisition of a brand in the UK trampoline market, a sector that has grown from zero to more than 150 sites in the past three years.

Funding for the acquisition was provided by London-based private investment company NM Capital.

Air Space, a subsidiary of Go Ape, has parks in East Kilbride, Stevenage and Wolverhampton.

Oxygen Freejumping was founded in late 2014 by Fred Turok, founder of LA Fitness, and David Stalker, former chief executive of ukactive and managing director of Harpers Fitness Clubs.

It currently has 10 parks and plans to have 20 by the end of 2018.

Stalker said: “The parks are highly cash-generative, conveniently located in high-footfall areas and run by highly experienced management teams with a focus on delivering a safe and high-quality experience to our customers.”
