Procter & Gamble is remaining tight-lipped over the location of worldwide plant closures as part of a massive restructuring.
It will close nine factories.
The group has offices in Staines, Newcastle and Rusham park and Brooklands in Surrey as well as factories in West Thurrock, Manchester, Newcastle, Wakefield, Bournemouth and Havant. The company has previously announced the closure of its Wakefield cosmetics and fragrances plant.
