Paddington Place plans submitted

31-London-Street

Great Western Developments and Sellar Property Group have submitted plans for what would be the tallest tower in the West End.

Paddington Place at 31 London Street, W2, includes an 833 ft residential tower, 100,000 sq ft of offices, 50,000 sq ft of shops and restaurants and more than one acre of public realm around Paddington Station.

The scheme, designed by Shard architect Renzo Piano Building Workshop, also includes a sky garden and rooftop restaurant.

The application slightly increases the height of the “crystal light-reflecting tower” originally proposed at 735ft at a public consultation earlier this year.
