Industrial developer Panattoni has submitted proposals for a 715,000 sq ft speculative development in Yorkshire that will include its largest spec logistics building in the UK.
The logistics facility will measure 630,000 sq ft and sit alongside a smaller 85,000 sq ft space, located by Junction 1 of the M18 at Rotherham.
A reserved matters planning application for the 40-acre site, called Panattoni Park Rotherham, has been submitted to Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.
Local occupiers include Great Bear, Clipper Logistics, DX and FedEx.
Dan Burn, development director for the North West and Yorkshire at Panattoni, said the developer sought to work “with all stakeholders through the planning application process, with the aim of bringing forward this nationally significant development”.
