Papers disclose Coroin interest

High Court documents have revealed the level of interest in buying all or parts of Coroin.

They included Robert Tchenguiz, Malaysian investors and the Qatari royal family. Their interest was revealed during the case in which Irish property developer Patrick McKillen is suing the Barclay brothers and their companies over control of the owner of Claridge’s, the Connaught and Berkeley hotels in London. The Barclays have refused to personally give evidence to the High Court. Richard Faber, as associate of the twins, denied that Sir David Barclay acted as a shadow director at Coroin. The case continues.
