Paramount Restaurants, the owner of the Chez Gerard chain, has been sold to privatge equity firm PPM Capital for £107.5m, including debt.
Dawnay, Day and North Atlantic Value bought Chez Gerard in April 2003 and last year took over 54 Caffe Uno restaurants. Paramount has 77 restaurants in the UK.
