The sale of Park Holidays is thought to be on hold amid expectations of a tourism boom in the UK in the wake of the Brexit vote.
Caledonia Investments paid £172m to buy the caravan park operator from Graphite Capital three years ago.
The company asked Pricewaterhouse Coopers to look at options for Park Holidays earlier this year. The sales price for the latter was put at around £250m.
