Park Resorts and Parkdean Holidays to create holiday home giant

Park Resorts and Parkdean Holidays have announced plans to merge in a deal with an enterprise value of around £960bn.

The merger will create the country’s largest holiday home park operator if it is approved by the Competition and Markets Authority.

Park Resorts is owned by Electra, which is also bringing its South Lakeland Parks, South View and Manor Parks operations to the deal. Parkdean, which is owned by Alchemy Partners, operates 24 holiday parks, and also sells holiday homes.
