Parkridge Holdings poaches ING Real Estate MD

John Cutt’s Parkridge Holdings has poached ING Real Estate Development managing director Ben Rainford to head its burgeoning expansion in the UK retail sector.

Rainford will join the company in October to oversee 2m sq ft under development in the UK, including flagship projects at Brighton Marina, Harrow Western Gateway and Regent’s Circus, Swindon.

Philip O’Callaghan, managing director of Parkridge Retail, said: “Ben’s arrival adds an extra level of experience to our existing team and signifies our ambitions in the retail sector.

“With 12 major retail schemes already underway across the UK, we are hungry for further opportunities.”

Rainford was previously retail managing director at ING Real Estate Development.

His tenure involved a number of high profile retail developments including Midsummer Place, Milton Keynes, and Enfield’s PalaceXchange.

Parkridge Retail is a rapidly expanding development and investment company originating from the UK and operating throughout Europe.

The company specialises in retail warehousing, high street retail and shopping malls, along with leisure and mixed-use schemes.
