Partners unveil Wolverhampton city centre plans

MIPIM 2018: Wolverhampton Council and its development partner Ion have unveiled new images of plans for the city’s commercial district at MIPIM this week.

More than 1m sq ft of grade A office space is to be built behind the city’s railway station, which is itself currently being demolished to make way for a new station, tram and bus interchange.

Work is to start later this year on the next commercial building to be built, known as i9. The £12.3m building, due to complete in 2020, will provide 50,000 sq ft of grade A office space.
