Knight Frank Retail has appointed Pat Keenan as head of retail agency to its senior team.
Keenan joins Knight Frank after running specialist retail consultancy K2 Retail. He started his career at Healey & Baker, now Cushman & Wakefield.
Keenan subsequently joined Churston Heard, where he became national retail director, before co-founding his own practice.
His appointment follows a number of successes in retail agency and capital markets.
The Knight Frank retail team advised on more than £1.3bn of retail investment transactions last year and has started 2018 with over £300m under offer.
This includes the agency team securing high-profile locations in central London for Equinox, being committed to oversee two major scheme openings at Dickens Yard in Ealing, W5, and the extension of the Beacons in Eastbourne; and it has recently been appointed as leasing agent on the Riverside, Stafford, by LGIM.
Alex Munro, head of retail at Knight Frank, said: “Pat will bring a wealth of experience to Knight Frank’s specialist retail teams acting on the high street, shopping centres and on behalf of key retail occupiers.
“His occupational know-how and skill will be a tremendous asset.
“He will lead the development and growth of our agency teams while working closely with Charlie Barke and the highly successful capital markets team.”
