Patron Capital sells Leeds office block 

Patron Capital has sold its Leeds office building The Mint to Gatehouse Bank, EG can reveal.

It is understood The Mint, LS11, was sold last week to the London-based bank based for circa £41m.

The entire 120,000sq ft building, located in the Holbeck area of the city along Sweet Street, is currently leased to Dart Group’s subsidiary Jet2.com.

Patron Capital acquired The Mint from Leeds developer Deltalord in 2015 for £30m.

The European investor is heavily focused on the UK and German markets, which together make up 50% of its portfolio.

It is understood Knight Frank and Oxlo Properties advised on the deal.

Patron Capital, Gatehouse Bank, Knight Frank were approached for comment. Oxlo Properties declined to comment.
