Patron Capital has raised €844m (£763m) for its latest fund.
The investment firm’s Fund VI drew in the money from existing investors – most came from North America, with capital also committed from Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Patron will continue to target distressed and undervalued assets in Western Europe. The latest fund is already about 25% invested.
Keith Breslauer, founder and managing director, said: “The pandemic has accelerated a number of existing trends across different real estate sectors in Europe, as well as created opportunities to acquire fundamentally sound but mismanaged assets at attractive prices.”
