PDFM pays £6.1m for Appletree Trading Estate in Chipping Warden, Northamptonshire

PDFM Second Property Partnership has paid £6.1m for the freehold on Appletree Trading Estate, in Chipping Warden, Northamptonshire.

The former airfield comprises 55,805 sq m (600,700 sq ft) of mixed industrial space on 24.23 ha (60 acres). This includes 11 warehouses with additional storage, as well as maintenance and office buildings. There is also scope for further development.

The logistics company, EPS, occupies the entire property on an overriding lease which expires in June 2009. The purchase price reflects a net yield of around 11.2%.

PDFM were represented by Savills and MEPC were represented by Jones Lang Wootton.
