Shaid Luqman, founder of Pearl Holdings, is one of the Young Entrepreneur 2004 finalists.
The 35-year-old launched the company in 2000 to provide bridging finance for the property finance market.
Turnover is forecast to increase from £16.8m in the year to December 2003 to £30m in 2004.
