Pears Group buy £22m South East portfolio

The Pears Group has acquired a South East-based portfolio for £22m from a family property company.

The Dolphin portfolio, located primarily in Surrey, consists of 11 office buildings and two industrial estates in Camberley and Waltham Abbey, Essex.

It includes 12 properties held on a freehold and one long leasehold.

The total area exceeds 139,000 sq ft.

There are a large number of developments in the pipeline for the Camberley area. Surrey Heath Borough Council is planning to regenerate several of the town’s buildings and thoroughfares, such as The Mall shopping centre which it bought for £86m in 2016.

Jonathan Rose,  group managing director at Pears said: “ We are delighted to have acquired a quality, well located  portfolio of assets in  sectors we believe  will provide rental growth prospects over the next decade.”
