Peel plans sale of Hartlebury Industrial Estate as part of £160m disposals programme

Peel Holdings plans to sell property valued at £160m to fund its development programme.

Tim Taylor, the company’s agency manager, told EGi News that deals in solicitor’s hands already total £80m. A British property company has offered £26m for the largest lot, the 72.85ha (180 acre) Hartlebury Industrial Estate near Worcester.

Also on the market is the Six Acre Shopping Centre in Sale, Greater Manchester, at an asking price of £16m.

Taylor said: “We’re clearing out stock which is highly management intensive with leases that are coming to an end. The properties are all over the country and in all sectors. Some of them require refurbishment and we’d rather other companies took them on so we can concentrate on developing land we’ve held for some time but have been unable to develop.”
