Peel to sell Castle Quay

Peel Group subsidiary Peel Land and Property is seeking a buyer for its 24,000 sq ft Castle Quay building in Castlefield, Manchester.

Peel is asking for £3.4m for the mixed-use grade II-listed building, which is occupied by tenants including local radio station Key 103.

The property was built in 1831 by the Manchester Ship Canal Company. It was originally used to store maize transported using the Bridgewater and Rochdale canals.

Jones Lang LaSalle is acting for Peel.
