Peel unveils new concept at Salford Quays

Developer Peel Holdings has unveiled plans for a new office concept at Salford Quays in Greater Manchester.

Pacific Way Digital Park

Pacific Way Digital Park is the first in a planned national roll-out of the Peel Business Space concept, which involves smaller speculative units of varying sizes.

Skelmersdale-based Construction Partnership UK will be retained by Peel to construct the buildings at each site.

Matt Fitton, development manager at Peel Holdings, said: “We have designed an office product with a range of unit sizes and called it Peel Business Space and our intention is to roll it out on a number of sites.

“We have taken a partnership approach and the idea is to get the same team working on the project to improve what we do at each site.”

The 35,000 sq ft Pacific Way scheme will act as a pilot for the concept.

It will comprise six units of 3,000 to 8,000 sq ft and is targeted at media occupiers attracted to Salford’s Mediacity:UK, which will be anchored by the BBC.

Pacific Way is due for completion next summer.
