The Peel Group has been granted planning consent for a £60m shopping and leisure scheme in Gloucester.
The Quayside, an extension of the firm’s Peel Centre, will include 11 restaurants, a cinema and shops. .
Peel plans to begin development after the Easter weekend, with completion scheduled for summer 2013.
Jason Pullen, managing director of Gloucester Quays, says: “We’re now looking to confirm linked plans to ensure that the Peel Centre retail park is granted permission for additional retail usage in order to maintain business once the cinema moves into the Quays.”
