Pegasus Group finds new home in Leeds

Property development consultancy Pegasus Group will move into a new Leeds office as part of its growth plan across the North of England.

The 3,800 sq ft office at Capitol at Bond Court will house a team of more than 40. The lease has been signed on a five-year term.

The 35,584 sq ft building is owned by Evans Property Group, with asking rents quoted at £15 per sq ft.

The move coincides with relocations in Newcastle, Bristol, Cambridge, and Edinburgh, where Pegasus has moved into new offices to support long-term strategic growth across the UK.

The new locations are expected to help the local teams to continue to support clients across the North following the expansion of its planning, environment, and heritage teams.

In addition, Pegasus is set to launch an urban design service line, enhancing the team’s capabilities in commercial and residential development, including strategic land promotion.

Chris Calvert, executive director at Pegasus’ Leeds office, said: “The new office is a perfect springboard to not only better serve the needs of our existing clients, but to build a team that can offer them more.”

Douglas McCormick, chief executive at Pegasus, added: “Our national growth drive is on track to deepen our support for existing clients and broaden our services to new ones. Chris and his teams’ work in Leeds is set to play a crucial role in our UK-wide plan.”

JLL acts as leasing agents for the Capitol building.
