Pegasus Group has appointed Simon Tarr as a director to head up a new property and acquisitions service for the company.
The new service will enable Pegasus to offer an integrated solution for clients, with the provision of expertise across the whole development lifecycle, including site identification and acquisition, asset and estate management, due diligence and valuation.
Tarr and his team will initially focus on the renewable energy and telecommunications sectors, with expansion into other sectors planned for the future.
Tarr started his career as a general practice surveyor within commercial property and licensed leisure and then moved into the telecommunications sector, spending more than seven years working in various acquisition and asset management roles. Since 2006, he has worked for private development companies within the renewable energy industry, focusing on the management of the entire pre-build development process, from site identification through to landowner negotiation and the securing of development consents.
