Kennedy Wilson Europe has appointed Blackstone managing director Mike Pegler as head of European asset management, excluding Ireland.
In 10 years at Blackstone’s European business, Pegler oversaw Logicor and the UK core-plus office portfolio, and worked on the sale of Broadgate to the Government Investment Corporation of Singapore.
Other significant disposals for which he was responsible include the sale of Chiswick Park to the China Investment Corporation and the sale of Center Parcs to Brookfield.
Prior to joining Blackstone, Pegler worked in the investment management team at Deloitte.
KWE president Mary Ricks said: “Mike is a tremendous hire for KWE and his appointment is a testament to our continued expansion and growing footprint in Europe. He brings strong and unrivaled industry experience to our dedicated asset management team, which is now more than 30 strong and manages more than £1.6bn of UK and Spanish assets.”
