Pelican Group, the restaurant group which owns the Cafe Rouge chain, has said it has the capacity to support another 100 outlets. The group – which launched 37 new restaurants last year – is already committed to the opening of 22 new outlets in 1996.
The announcement followed the publication yesterday of figures which revealed that pre-tax profits had risen by 83% to £7.5m.
