Charles Gillett has joined Birmingham-based Pennycuick Collins as a partner.
The former Bruton Knowles director has joined the property management firm and has taken with him the management contract for the Gooch Estate, one of the most significant property holdings in central
The Gooch Estate extends to more than 45 acres, with around 200 properties focused in the Digbeth and Southside areas of the city.
These areas form a key part of Birmingham council’s regeneration agenda, the Big City Plan.
The estate comprises the remnants of what was the original manorial estates of
The estate had been managed by James & Lister Lea – now Bruton Knowles – since 1878, until now.
Gillett had managed the Gooch Estate for more than 13 years while at Bruton Knowles.
He will now head Pennycuick Collins’ commercial property team and oversee its expansion.
